By using Mir'aya you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because that's the point of her too.

What Mir'aya is

Mir'aya is an AI companion for writing, thinking out loud, and remembering what you've said before. She reads what you write, keeps notes in your words, and quotes you back to yourself with dates and patterns you might have missed.

She is not a therapist, not a doctor, not a lawyer, not a financial advisor. She is a careful reader. Use her accordingly.

The beta

Mir'aya is currently in private beta. The service is provided as-is while we figure out what works. There are no uptime guarantees yet. Things may change, break, or be paused. We'll communicate before anything irreversible.

Your account

One account per person. Keep your password safe. If you suspect someone has accessed your account, tell us. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Don't use Mir'aya for anything illegal. Don't try to extract another user's data — the row-level isolation will stop you, but trying is itself a violation. Don't try to use Mir'aya to generate content that violates Anthropic's usage policies (which we follow). Don't spam, harass, or impersonate.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this. We'll tell you why if we can.

Your data is yours

Everything you write — messages, journals, memory entries — belongs to you. We store it to make Mir'aya work. We do not claim ownership of your content. You can export or delete it anytime. See the Privacy page for details.

What we owe you

Honest effort to keep the service running, your data secure, and your conversations private. Clear communication when something changes. The ability to leave with everything you wrote.

What we don't owe: perfect uptime, perfect AI replies, replacement for professional help in any domain.

Pricing

Free during the beta. If pricing is introduced later, you will be notified in advance and given the option to export your data and end your account before any charge.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time. We will retain only anonymous operational records (error logs with the personal link severed) for service health; everything else cascades out of our database immediately.

Disclaimers

Mir'aya is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. The service relies on third-party AI models (Claude by Anthropic), and their output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Use judgment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to your use of Mir'aya is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Currently that is zero.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Substantial changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Mir'aya after that date constitutes acceptance.
